Many individuals with ASC live with their parents well into adult hood, whilst some live with their partners and children.  The social difficulties of ASC affect everyone who lives with and loves that person.  Sometimes a change in one part of a family, such as the person with ASC, can be difficult for the other members of the family, or vice versa.  For this reason BTSS offers work with more than the individual.

The basis for this work is Solution Focused Brief Therapy which has a long history of application in Family Therapy.
